    Job Title: Tower Foreman – Telecommunications

     

    Employment Type: Full-Time

     

    Pay: $30.00-35.00hr

     

    Reports To: Construction Manager / Project Manager

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Tower Foreman to lead and supervise crews in the installation, maintenance, and repair of wireless communication towers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tower climbing, rigging, and overseeing field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead and manage tower crews on-site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications

    + Coordinate daily tasks, delegate responsibilities, and monitor crew performance

    + Climb towers to perform installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of antennas, lines, and other telecom equipment

    + Conduct site audits and ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and company safety standards

    + Read and interpret construction drawings, RFDS, and scopes of work

    + Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and subcontractors

    + Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and inventory tracking

    + Train and mentor junior technicians and climbers

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred

    + Minimum 3–5 years of experience in tower climbing and telecom construction

    + Proven leadership experience in field operations

    + Proficient in rigging, antenna installation, and fiber/coax cable routing

    + Ability to read blueprints and understand RF engineering documents

    + Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

    + Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions

    Physical Requirements

    + Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

    + Comfortable climbing towers up to 500 feet

    + Willingness to travel and work extended hours when needed

    Preferred Skills

    + CPR/First Aid and OSHA 10/30 certifications

    + NWSA certification or equivalent

    + Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

    + Excellent communication and team leadership skills

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
