Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing repair, maintenance, installation, and calibration of equipment that is electrical, electronic, and mechanical in nature. Your role will involve installing equipment such as tanks, pumps, piping, mixers, motors, electrical systems, and electronics. A comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical/electronic principles related to complex multi-component assemblies and devices is essential.
Responsibilities
+ Perform repair and maintenance on electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
+ Install equipment including tanks, pumps, piping, mixers, motors, and electronics.
+ Conduct calibration of various equipment.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical components and systems.
+ Diagnose and correct equipment and control system problems using electronic/electrical test equipment.
+ Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
+ The plant is smaller than others, managing a 34-gallon flow each day and is responsible for chemical processing, monitoring, and maintaining the water process. Candidates with an industrial background may find success in this unique commercial property.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with electrical systems and electronic principles.
+ Proficiency in using multimeters and PLCs.
+ Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.
+ Experience in maintenance repair, pump repair, motor repair, and gearboxes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to use common and industrial hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, grease guns, and saws.
+ Capability to use air tools, VOA meters, and pumps.
+ Experience in wastewater treatment and electrical troubleshooting.
Schedule
The work environment operates on a 9AM-5PM, Monday to Friday shift. The position is based in a niche plant in Washington DC, part of the Bureau of Engineering and Printing building.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $68640.00/yr.
