    Job Title: Computer Vision Engineer (OpenCV + GPU Acceleration)

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Computer Vision Engineer with hands-on experience in OpenCV and GPU-accelerated computing. You will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance vision algorithms for real-time applications across various platforms.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and optimize computer vision algorithms using OpenCV.

    + Integrate vision solutions into production systems with real-time performance constraints.

    + Leverage GPU platforms (e.g., NVIDIA CUDA) to accelerate image processing and deep learning inference.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy vision models on embedded and edge devices.

    + Benchmark and profile system performance to identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency.

    + Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and GPU computing.

    + Work directly with clients to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

    + Present technical concepts and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    + Provide expert guidance on integrating computer vision solutions into client workflows and products.

    + Support client teams during deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization phases.

    + Build long-term relationships through excellent communication, responsiveness, and technical leadership.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong proficiency in OpenCV and C++/Python.

    + Experience with NVIDIA GPU platforms (CUDA, cuDNN).

    + Solid understanding of image processing, feature extraction, and object detection techniques.

    + Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and model optimization for deployment.

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field — OR equivalent professional experience in computer vision and GPU-accelerated development.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Familiarity with other GPU platforms such as AMD ROCm or Intel oneAPI is a plus.

    + Experience deploying vision systems on embedded platforms (Jetson, Xavier, etc.).

    + Knowledge of real-time systems and multithreaded programming.

    + Contributions to open-source computer vision projects.

    + Prior experience in a consulting or customer-facing technical role.

    + Experience with Docker for containerized development and deployment workflows.

    + Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks or environments (e.g., Spark, MPI).

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
