Job Title: Laboratory Manager – Construction Materials TestingAbout the Role

Are you a seasoned professional in construction materials testing with a passion for leadership and quality assurance? We are seeking a Laboratory Manager to lead our dynamic testing facility, specializing in concrete, aggregate, and other construction materials. This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise will directly impact the success of infrastructure and construction projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities

+ Oversee daily operations of the construction materials testing laboratory.

+ Ensure accurate and timely testing of concrete, aggregate, and other materials in compliance with ACI and ASTM standards.

+ Maintain and continuously improve laboratory procedures, safety protocols, and quality control systems.

+ Lead, train, and mentor laboratory staff to ensure high performance and regulatory compliance.

+ Collaborate with construction and geology teams to meet project specifications and deadlines.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

+ Proven experience managing a construction materials laboratory.

+ Expertise in concrete, aggregate, and material testing.

+ ACI Certifications in one or more of the following:

+ Concrete Strength Testing

+ Aggregate Base

+ Aggregate Testing

Preferred Qualifications

+ Associate degree or higher from a technical or four-year institution.

+ Background in geology or construction materials science.

+ Familiarity with advanced testing equipment and laboratory technologies.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
