• Medical Receptionist

    TEKsystems (New Haven, CT)


    We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team and help us provide exceptional patient care. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and efficient front desk experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism.

    + Manage patient check-in and check-out processes.

    + Schedule, confirm, and update patient appointments.

    + Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries.

    + Maintain and update patient records accurately.

    + Assist with insurance verification and documentation.

    + Coordinate with clinical staff to support smooth patient flow.

    + Perform general administrative duties including filing, faxing, and scanning.

    + Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable.

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical receptionist or front desk role.

    + Familiarity with EPIC preferred.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    Job Details:

    + Pay: $22 - $27/hr. based on related experience.

    + Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7.5 hour shift within the hours of operation (7:00 AM – 6:00 PM | 37.5 hours/week

    + Pay Cycle: Weekly | Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance offered

    + Parking: Employees are responsible for parking; various lot options available at different price points.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
