We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Kentucky. The provider will provide direct care to employees, support workplace health initiatives, and collaborate with safety and HR teams to promote a culture of wellness and injury prevention.

How You'll Create Possibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive employee health assessments, including physical exams and medical history reviews.
• Evaluate and treat work-related injuries and illnesses. Coordinate & provide for the appropriate care, treatment, and follow-up of work-related injury and illness based on knowledge of the specific work environment.
• Support workplace health and safety programs.
• Provide emergency care and first aid for on-site incidents.
• Follow occupational health policies and compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Educate employees on wellness topics such as ergonomics, stress management, and chronic disease prevention.
• Monitor and manage return-to-work cases and rehabilitation plans.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records using EMR systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including HR, safety officers, and external providers.
• Ensure that medical information of worker evaluations remain confidential, releasing it only when required by law or by overriding public health considerations, or to other physicians at the request of the worker.
• Comply with GE Appliances and Network policies regarding confidentiality. Maintain & safeguard confidentiality of employee health information and health records.
• Comply with all policies related to Emergency Procedures as defined in Policies and Procedures, Medical Standards. Knows personal role in event of a disaster or emergency-situation.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications:
• FOR RN/Nurse Practitioner:
+ Current or ability to obtain RN and NP licensure in Kentucky.
+ Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
+ Minimum 5 years of total nursing experience
+ At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting.
+ Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for medical provider.
+ Strong computer skills and capable of utilizing clinical systems, including EMR-Cority, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, etc.
• FOR PA
+ Current or ability to obtain a PA license in Kentucky
+ Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
+ Minimum of 3 years of PA clinical experience ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
+ Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for medical provider.
+ Strong computer skills and capable of utilizing clinical systems, including EMR-Cority, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ · Three years’ work experience in occupational health experience or experience in an industrial setting.
+ · Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN or COHN-S).
+ · Certification in Occupational & Environmental Medicine (CAQ-OM)
Skills:
+ Strong knowledge of case management, workers’ compensation, ADA, and government (OSHA) regulations & additional education appropriate to the work setting.
+ Knowledge or additional education on medical surveillance, e.g., pulmonary function testing, hearing conservation (CAOHC), etc.
+ Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Previous leadership training and/or Emotional Intelligence training is highly desirable.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Provide excellent customer service to all levels of the workforce
+ Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, AI, Electronic Medical Record) required
Working Conditions:
+ Primarily office-based.
+ May require occasional evening work conduct training sessions or respond to health emergencies.
