Fri-Sat: 8pm to 4:30am
The Target Pay for this position is $25.00 an hour** **with 0.70/mile** . **. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.
PURPOSE OF JOB:
The TPA position is to provide support to our drivers, Lab Ops, Sales, and CS during operational hours. Utilize skills and available tools to facilitate reliable and flexible deliveries to labs. Track and communicate in and out bound flight schedules and information.
Will be a decision maker when manager and or supervisor are not available.
The transportation lead driver will fill the role of a driver and TPA when needed. Please review and acknowledge driver job description. TPA duties are within Lead driver job description .
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Oversees and directs drivers and floaters on their assigned routes • Manages all in bound and out bound flights for region
+ Schedule Cyto flights when needed.
+ Will focus free time in assisting in all area transportation AGL email needs after 6 pm. o Including but not limited to calling vendors for immediate need issues.
+ Communicate any additional information or changes to call-in/stops from clients/CS to drivers.
+ Assisting drivers with any questions or concerns problem resolution while on route.
+ Monitor and confirm that all packages have been picked up from clients and delivered properly
+ Communicate any transportation delays to the lab in a timely manner and use TMS tools to eliminate delays to current environmental constraint standard
+ Communicate with RTM on all issues that arise during a route
+ Responsible for compliance with all TMS/AGL processes including and not limited to: Driver check ins, delays, float driver use management, blind and proximity management, audits, verification counts
+ PM and Weekend management of AGL Emails/Incidents (manage all locations inbound urgent needs, ensure monitoring and distribution of that days incidents still open).
+ Assist in other duties relevant to transportation services.
+ Coordinate with Supervisor tracking Antech vehicles that need maintenance take vehicles for repair and maintenance.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
+ Ability to effectively multi-task, while showing superior follow-through on any problem cases they might face throughout the day.
+ Communication skills
+ Neat, professional appearance
+ Clean driving record with at least 36 months of driving experience
+ Positive, can-do attitude
+ Microsoft Office Suite
+ Familiarity with logistics software (A plus but not required)
+ Type to touch required (wpm 35)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
+ Prolonged standing/sitting/walking/driving
+ Fine dexterity with hands/steadiness
+ Able to lift up to 25 pounds; may occasionally need to lift 40 pounds; carrying up to 15 pounds for several minutes at a time
+ Ability to communicate effectively in English with clients, supervisors and peers
+ Vision-requires constant mental visual attention to details as well as ability to see well in limited light scenarios
+ Balancing
+ Bending/kneeling
+ Pushing/pulling
+ Reaching/twisting
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
+ Laboratory environment with potential biohazards present
+ Works under close to moderate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment.
+ Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
+ Potential for exposure to agents known to cause zoonotic disease in humans and use of potentially hazardous chemicals as defined by the National Hazard Communication Standards. A complete list of such chemicals is available from department supervision.
