You will report directly to our Sr. Engineering Program Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the successful execution of engineering projects, contributing to the development of advanced propulsion systems that enhance military capabilities and operational effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES
+ Lead the design and integration of jet engines for military fixed-wing applications, ensuring compliance with specifications and requirements.
+ Lead engine related systems integration, design and support for military fixed wing (CCA, F124, TFE1042) applications. Past experience highly sought.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
+ Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, driving operational excellence.
+ Leadership capability with diverse, cross functional international team
+ Escalate effectively with leadership and cross-functionally across the organization
+ Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
+ Bias toward creative thinking and innovation in product design and approach to everyday work
+ Implement design-to-cost and variation-reduction strategies
+ Promote and build strong team, culture and working relationships
+ Manage within very difficult resource constraints
+ Identify gaps and risks on behalf of the team

+ Monitor work of team members to recognize when they are “stuck” or “off track”
+ Approve schedules and budgeted time for the tasks of the team members

YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
+ 6+ years of experience in engineering project management, specifically in aerospace or military applications.
+ Strong knowledge of propulsion systems and jet engine design principles.
+ Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a focus on delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
+ Experience with risk management and problem-solving in engineering contexts.
