Salary: $700 / Week

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.

Minimum Requirements:

+ High School diploma or equivalent required

+ Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

*need experience working as a paraprofessional with high school-transition aged students

*pre onboarding documents must be completed at a minimum prior to submittal

Age Group:

Transition, 18-22

Caseload Details:

TAs would need to be willing to change and toilet adults with physical disabilities, work 1:1 with students, work in small groups, and go into the community. It is a physical job based on change and community experiences.
