    Position Overview

    We are looking for a skilled and dependable Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a variety of flooring materials and installation techniques. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

    Responsibilities

    + Measure, cut, and install flooring materials such as carpet, vinyl plank (LVP), hardwood, tile, laminate, and other specialty surfaces.

    + Remove existing flooring and prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, patching, or sanding.

    + Follow work orders, blueprints, and customer specifications to ensure accurate installations.

    + Operate hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely and effectively.

    + Communicate clearly with customers, contractors, and team members regarding project timelines and expectations.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper disposal of old flooring and debris.

    + Adhere to company safety protocols and industry best practices.

    + Provide excellent customer service and professionally represent the company at all times.

    Qualifications

    + Proven experience as a flooring installer or in a related construction trade preferred.

    + Knowledge of flooring types, adhesives, and installation techniques.

    + Ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs) and work on hands and knees for extended periods.

    + Strong attention to detail and quality.

    + Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

     

    Preferred Skills

     

    + Experience with moisture testing, underlayment, and floor preparation.

    + Familiarity with commercial and residential installation projects.

    + Certification or training in flooring installation (IICRC, CFI, NWFA, or similar) a plus.

    Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
