Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Fiscal Director to lead financial operations for our nonprofit organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in grant writing, nonprofit financial reporting, and audit preparation, along with knowledge of QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities:
Grant Management & Reporting
Prepare and submit financial reports for grant-funded programs.
Collaborate with program staff to ensure accurate and timely grant reporting.
Track grant expenditures and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
Lead or support grant writing efforts, including budget development and financial narratives.
Audit Preparation & Compliance
Coordinate annual audits and prepare all necessary financial documentation.
Develop and maintain audit-ready financial records and reports.
Financial Oversight
Manage day-to-day accounting operations using QuickBooks.
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and regulations.
Reporting & Analysis
Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making.
Maintain accurate records for all financial transactions and grant activities.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in nonprofit financial management.
Proven experience with grant writing and grant reporting.
Knowledge of QuickBooks
Experience preparing for and managing audits.
Familiarity with nonprofit compliance and reporting requirements.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
