    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Portfolio Manager to join a financial services & insurance client in the Chicagoland area. This individual will be responsible for standing up the PMO discipline in the Chicago office as an extension of the PMO branch. They will be working with business stakeholders in the Legal & Compliance, Accounting, Treasury, and Investments spaces as well as the Data and Architecture IT teams. Ideally, this person would have 10 years of professional experience growing into a Technical Portfolio Manager role helping teams by gathering requirements, prioritizing projects, and driving them through Jira tool and Agile processes. This candidate will be compensated at a starting rate of $60/HR.

    Skills and Requirements

    10 years of professional experience working as an IT Business Analyst, IT Product/Project/Portfolio Manager or Scrum Master

    Gathering requirements

    Prioritizing projects

     

    Communicating with stakeholders in IT and the business

     

    Experience with Agile

     

    Understanding of data or experience working with a data team

     

    Jira - driving and managing projects Scaled Agile and any certifications aligning

     

    Jira advanced reporting

     

    Financial services/insurance experience
