Insight Global is seeking highly motivated Senior Mechanical Design Engineers to join one of our large customers in Indiana. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in creating mechanical designs using CREO or CAD programs. You will be leading and assisting with the development and testing prototypes of mechanical systems. Other responsibilities include ensuring that all mechanical designs meet standards and regulations. We are looking for candidates who have great communication with other engineers and designers to ensure that all mechanical systems are integrated and functioning properly.

The immediate project the Sr Mechanical Design Engineer will require picking out parts, researching vendors, creating drawings, coming up with designs looking at specs and how they integrate parts, etc. This candidate is expected to be able to help lead different projects, and to be self sufficient and a problem solver with good communication skills.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years mechanical design experience with a full lifecycle mechanical engineering: background in designing, integration, and testing

• Design experience with CREO

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM

• Familiarity with creating engineering drawings

o GD&T • Master’s in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering

• System Integration experience or integration onto a vehicle

• Product Design experience in metallics, sheet metal parts, machine parts, etc.

• DOD or Aerospace experience
