Job Summary:
As the IT Epic Analyst II, you are responsible for the design, implementation maintenance and support of your assigned Epic software applications. You will work with operational teams across ProMedica and serve as a mentor for less experienced IT EMR staff.
You will plan implementation and upgrade clinical systems ensuring adequate testing, quality assurance and documentation of changes.
You will train IT employees and advise end-users in the operation of their information system and support the training team by keeping trainers informed of new functions and system changes.

REQUIREMENTS
+ Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
+ Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience
+ Must achieve Epic certification in primary application within 90 days of completing the first Epic class. Obtaining and maintenance of Epic Certification in the primary application is a mandatory job requirement. Obtaining and maintenance of a secondary or supporting Epic Certification will be at the discretion of leadership.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
+ Bachelor’s degree or 3 years experience in Information Technology
+ IT background
+ 5 – 7 years relevant clinical experience
+ Epic certification
