    Sodexo is seeking a **Chef Manager / Sous Chef** to join our culinary team at **Leisure World** , a large 55 and over adult living community located in **Silver Spring, Maryland.** This is more than just a job—it's a chance to elevate your career while shaping unforgettable dining experiences. We're looking for a chef with a proven track record of crafting trend-forward, seasonal, and recipe-driven menus that delight and inspire. This Chef will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations for 2 restaurants and catering operations on campus.

    What You'll Do

    + Execute innovative, nutritious, and appealing menus tailored to resident preferences and dietary needs

    + Ensure rigorous food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met and exceeded

    + Lead, mentor, and engage culinary and utility staff to foster a positive, resident-focused culture

    + Assist with planning and execution of special events and chef dinners, providing elevated dining experiences that delight residents and guests

    + Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to support resident satisfaction

    + Manage inventory, budget, and vendor relationships to optimize operational efficiency and quality
