Job Description Summary
The FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) Manager’s primary focus is to oversee and provide tactical support for the Client’s portfolio FF&E needs in a specific geographic region. Activities will consist of requests, project planning and support including client relationship manager and project coordination, site support related to access and scheduling, and budgetary tracking. As an FF&E Manager, this role partners closely with project managers, facilities teams, and external vendors to ensure that all FF&W solutions align with brand standards, budget targets, sustainability goals and project timelines.
Job Description
Principle Responsibilities
+ Oversees all facility FF&E requests within assigned territory while implementing solutions in-line with client lines of business and corporate real estate goals
+ Collaborates with Client’s Corporate Real Estate, Workplace Strategy, and Design / Construction teams to define FF&E scope, standards and budgets for each project.
+ Establishes and maintains relationships with various client lines of business to understand their requirements and the impacts to the portfolio
+ Serves as the primary client contact for daily FF&E requests and simple projects.
+ In conjunction with Project Manager and Furniture Team, develops tactical migration plans and sequencing of group-level relocations and project installations
+ Prepare RFPs, solicit bids, and negotiate with vendors to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
+ Track all purchase orders, invoices, and change orders to maintain budget compliance and provide regular cost reporting.
+ Implements furniture management activities in support of projects for the client, internal small works activities, work orders
+ Understands and initiates the warranty process for furniture items to be repaired or replaced by manufacturer
+ Ensure that FF&E selections comply with local building codes, fire and life-safety requirements, and ADA/ergonomic standards.
+ Resolve punch-list items, warranty claims, and any post-occupancy issues in partnership with vendors.
+ Recommends alternative furniture vendors that align with client's global standards
+ Maintains awareness of client furniture standards and procurement processes; communicates challenges and expectations to internal team
+ Makes recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, service delivery, cost savings, and asset utilization
+ Provides support on ad hoc Strategy & Planning requests and assignments across the portfolio
+ Provides support to Facilities team for special projects related to the management of and maintenance of Client’s space
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree and five years’ work experience in two or more of the following: a) project management, b) move planning, c) office furniture, and d) facilities planning
+ Minimum of five years’ experience in a corporate real estate environment
+ Basic knowledge of office furniture systems
+ Demonstrates proficiency in understanding architectural and engineering drawings, concepts & design
+ Experienced in managing projects of varied scope and complexity
+ Demonstrates a working knowledge of various office furniture systems
+ Proficient in MS Office Suite software applications
+ Excellent customer service and interpersonal relationship skills
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
+ Able to build strong relationships with internal and external partners to deliver effective services
+ Strong oral, written and presentation skills
+ Assumes ownership of requests to ensure successful completion
+ Strong attention to detail and quality
+ Ability to handle concurrent projects with minimal supervision and direction

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $ 76,469.40 - $89,964.00
