Overview
About this Position:
As a Junior Vehicle Data Specialist, you’ll keep projects for our client Lexus running smoothly by managing vehicle CAD data and making sure it’s accurate, secure, and production-ready. You’ll partner with creative teams, producers, and trusted partners to keep data flowing seamlessly and securely. In this role, you’ll help streamline processes, support data distribution, and occasionally join client conversations—always keeping an eye on innovation and brand standards.
What You’ll Do:
+ Manage and organize Lexus vehicle CAD data in shared systems, ensuring accuracy, security, and timely delivery
+ Maintain and update configurators, model logs, and data trackers to keep product information current
+ Build working knowledge of Lexus models, components, packages, and options and maintain a master configurator in Excel
+ Prepare 3D data use across the 3D pipeline including UVing meshes, creating and assigning materials, importing / exporting data, and altering meshes for modularity
+ Partner with production, creative, product, and account teams—capturing notes, updating readiness boards, and sharing key updates and accurate data that informs CG asset needs
+ Coordinate with internal leads and external vendors on data requests, deliveries, and secure handoffs
+ Publish and maintain checklists to streamline workflows and improve team processes
+ Act as an internal resource for vehicle product knowledge, supporting client-facing conversations when needed
What You Bring:
+ 0–2 years in data operations, product data, or a related role
+ Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills - you know your way around lookups and pivots
+ Experience with DCC packages (like Autodesk Maya, Alias, 3DS Max) and material authoring tools (like Photoshop, Substance Designer, Mari, and Quixel)
+ Comfort working with large, structured datasets
+ Familiarity with naming conventions, version control basics, and tidy data habits
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to keep things organized
+ Clear, concise communication - especially in writing
+ A respect for data security and ability to follow protocols
+ Bonus if you have exposure to:
+ Automotive product data and configurators
+ Unreal / CG data prep and production pipelines
+ Collaboration / tracking tools (like Confluence/Jira) and version control tools (like Perforce or Git)

Compensation Range: $72,390.00 - $104,720.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
