Job Summary

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for mechanical systems and plant reliability? Join Arkema’s Beaumont team as a Maintenance Mechanic, where your skills will directly support safe, efficient, and continuous operations in a dynamic industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on pumps, compressors, valves, and piping systems

+ Fabricate and replace piping, isolate equipment, and execute PM work orders

+ Conduct safety inspections and routine maintenance to ensure plant reliability

+ Collaborate with Production, Safety, Environmental, and Engineering teams

+ Use SAP and CMMS systems to track work orders and hours

+ Support emergency repairs and participate in improvement initiatives

+ Work safely in SCBA or supplied air equipment when required

Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred

+ Minimum 2 years working with rotating and reciprocating industrial equipment

+ Certified craftsman or equivalent field experience

+ Welding experience preferred

+ Familiarity with LOTO procedures, safe work permitting, and JSA practices

+ Familiar in SAP and CMMS systems

+ Strong troubleshooting and teamwork abilities
