    As a  **Plant Operations Intern**  at Corteva Agriscience, you’ll be embedded at our Woodhull production facility, supporting key operational and improvement initiatives across corn and soybean production. This hands-on internship is designed for  **current students**  who want to gain exposure to agricultural operations, develop leadership skills, and prepare for future roles in seed production management.

     

    You’ll work closely with site leadership, production teams, and technical experts to support plant and field operations, drive improvement projects, and contribute to our culture of safety and efficiency.  **Primarily, you will be assigned and tasked with a hands-on, experience-driven summer project while also learning production operations through mentorship and guidance from site leaders.**

     

    The internship will run from  **May 2026 through early August 2026** .

    What You’ll Do:

    Under the mentorship of a Plant Operations leader, you will:

    + Assist with the safe, effective, and efficient management of seed production processes.

    + Support labor planning, equipment utilization, and maintenance initiatives.

    + Contribute to continuous improvement and productivity projects.

    + Assist with safety and environmental compliance initiatives.

    + Participate in site walks, audits, and team meetings to learn operational best practices.

    + Gain hands-on experience in field, plant, and warehouse conditions.

    + Take ownership of a summer project with measurable impact on plant operations.

    What Skills You Need:

    + Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Business Operations, Soil Science, or a related field.

    + Valid U.S. driver’s license.

    + Strong communication skills (written, oral, and interpersonal).

    + Interest in seed production, operations, and agricultural business.

    + Ability to work effectively in teams and contribute to projects.

    + Problem-solving, initiative, and leadership potential.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

    + Willing and able to work in varied conditions (field, plant, warehouse – hot, cold, dusty).

     

    $21.00-23.00/hour Pay Range

     

    This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
