    _MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE_

    The Project Analyst provides technical, administrative, analytical, and document management support to capital projects for teams for efficient processing of requisitions to support purchase of goods and providing routine document processing and retention services. The individual is responsible for entering system requests and coordinates activities involved with procuring goods and services (e.g., raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, shipping services, W/O services). They will ensure the asset information forms are completed for assets acquired for the project. Additionally, take a leadership role in organizing project close out document and transferring documents into document retention systems. This individual will be available to train team members submitting forms and completing asset information documentation for retention.

    _MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES_

    •Responsible for procurement and asset documentation including project commitment reconciliation, under the direction of the Project Engineer.

     

    This Procurement Specialist is the primary caretaker of project procurement documentation required to support execution and close-out of capital projects.

     

    Responsible for project lifecycle documentation including document requirements for capital project close-out quality and accuracy, under the direction of the Project Engineer.

     

    This Document Coordinator is the primary caretaker of project documentation required to support execution and close-out of capital projects.

     

    They provide training and support to external project team members, divisional personnel to assure compliance with required standards for documentation and the ability to retrieve the documents during a project’s lifecycle.

     

    The coordinator is responsible for close-out document compliance to financial project closeout requirements.

     

    They are expected to function independently with the project teams with minimal supervision.

    Responsibilities can include:

    Create and manage SAP shopping carts, Maximo work orders and POCNs · Manage invoice receipts, reconcile invoice issues, and links to purchase orders

     

    Manage capital asset tags and documentation.

     

    Identify and communicate issues to management.

     

    Interact with project team across all divisions and multiple functional groups.

     

    Individual is expected to apply skill sets to situations and seek necessary knowledge to resolve issues.

     

    Do what is necessary to deliver expected customer service levels.

     

    Multi-task and stay focused throughout interruptions.

     

    Strong interpersonal skills are essential to the job.

    _Experience/Background_

    Minimum 3 years

     

    - minimum 3-5 years in project accounting, administration (or similar) experience.

     

    Position requires computer system skills in SAP, Maximo and an understanding of capital asset purchasing requirements. Position requires computer system skills in SharePoint and other documentation collection software packages. Understand of capital project closeout requirements. Effective customer service skills to interface with all levels of internal and external Abbott personnel. Strong organizational skills to handle many data inputs and issues concurrently. Ability to deliver specific user training for project teams and project management skills are also required for this position. Analytical and problem solving skills associated with data preparation, process improvement and the management of multiple diverse systems required. Incumbent must possess comprehensive understanding and demonstrated proficiency with MS Office applications; document management software and computer based systems. - Knowledge of basic project accounting principles - Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet software.

    The base pay for this position is $22.05 – $44.15 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
