Job Summary and Qualifications
The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for supporting HCA Healthcare’s strategy for Colleague Community Engagement by developing tools to help division leaders involve colleagues in leadership, giving, and volunteerism with community organizations. This role also helps guide the $12 million HCA Healthcare Foundation budget focused on colleague engagement and drives growth beyond the 43,000+ colleagues currently involved. Additionally, it supports development activities for the HCA Healthcare Hope Fund, which raises over $14 million annually from more than 37,000 donors.
What you will do in this role:
+ Manage donation data integrity by overseeing the accurate classification and entry of Hope Fund contributions into the donor database.
+ Lead donor stewardship efforts by generating and segmenting tax acknowledgment letters to ensure timely and personalized recognition.
+ Drive donor engagement through targeted, data-informed communications using a web-based platform to cultivate long-term relationships.
+ Serve as the liaison for resolving complex colleague donation issues across all supported nonprofit organizations, ensuring timely and effective resolution through the CRM system
+ Support the development of standardized communications, toolkits, and educational materials that advance HCA Healthcare’s Colleague Community Engagement strategy.
+ Interview and write Hope Fund grant recipient testimonials to educate colleagues about the organization and promote involvement
+ Coordinate outreach initiatives gather and curate stories of colleague engagement, contributing to a growing library that supports recognition and awareness.
+ Collaborate with the Creative Services team to support the creation of scalable tools and resources that promote community engagement.
+ Support the development of standardized communications, toolkits, and educational materials that advance HCA Healthcare’s Colleague Community Engagement strategy.
+ Interview and write Hope Fund grant recipient testimonials to educate colleagues about the organization and promote involvement
+ Coordinate outreach initiatives gather and curate stories of colleague engagement, contributing to a growing library that supports recognition and awareness.
+ Collaborate with the Creative Services team to support the creation of scalable tools and resources that promote community engagement.
+ Lead financial alignment efforts between the CRM Giving platform and Lawson payroll systems, ensuring accuracy of colleagues giving data through proactive issue identification and resolution.
+ Partner with payroll team to investigate and resolve discrepancies in giving records.
What qualifications you will need:
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred
+ 3-5 years’ experience in database imports/exports.
+ Exceptional attention to detail and strong organization skills
+ Proven ability to prioritize effectively and manage both internal and external resources
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills; excel at cross-functional collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders
+ Thrives in fast-paced, matrixed corporate environments, such as departments focused on giving, volunteering and leadership.
