The Role
Lumen Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Systems Administrator – Team Lead to join our Engineering Support Group (ESG). This leadership role requires a deep understanding of systems administration, hardware programming, database management, and system automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing ESG operations, ensuring technical excellence, and driving team performance
Location
This is a hybrid position, the work location is 5325 Zuni St, Denver, CO.
The Main Responsibilities
+ Provide embedded team oversight and mentorship to ESG member
+ Serve as Lead Project Manager for key initiativesMaintain and manage the database of security hardwar
+ Oversee the Critical Site List and conduct Risk AssessmentsEnsure compliance with systems training requirement
+ Promote and facilitate cross-training within the teamSupport and perform hardware programming task
+ Provide application support across security platform
+ Manage ServiceNow ticketing system for the Security team
+ Maintain inventory of security equipment (e.g., NVRs, cameras, panels)Ensure certifications and standards are upheld across platforms

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal abilitie
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmen
+ Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solvin
+ Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
+ B.S. Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience in the private sector or military4+ years of experience in the technology industry with a focus on engineering, engineering support, database administration, or similar
Preferred Qualification
+ Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing system
+ Familiarity with security hardware and software platform
+ Background in database management and system automatio
+ Familiarity with physical security systems and servers
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$87,117 - $116,156 in these states: CO
