    Warehouse/Manufacturing Janitor

     

    Company in Minden Nevada is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor/Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment within our active manufacturing and warehouse facility.     **Location:** Minden Nevada

     

    Day and Night shifts available – Monday thru Friday….some Saturdays as needed.

     

    Pay: $19.50 per hour

    Responsibilities Include:

    + **Facility Cleanliness:** Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors in the warehouse, production, office, and common areas.

    + **Restroom and Breakroom Sanitation:** Clean, sanitize, and restock supplies in all restrooms, locker rooms, and employee break areas/kitchens.

    + **Waste Management:** Empty all trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.

    + **Safety Focus:** Clean up spills and debris promptly to maintain clear and safe walkways and work zones, adhering to all safety protocols (OSHA, SDS, etc.).

    + **Equipment Care:** Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and brooms.

    + **Minor Maintenance:** Report or assist with minor facility maintenance issues (e.g., changing light bulbs, reporting leaks).

    Qualifications:

    + Proven experience in a janitorial, custodial, or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse setting.

    + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time efficiently.

    + Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

    + Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and industrial cleaning equipment.

    + Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to [Specify weight, e.g., 50] lbs), and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.

    + Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
