    Description:

    Primarily responsible for all duties involved with the collection of blood specimens through venipunctures and skin punctures on all age groups, the collection of specimens other than blood in the outpatient department for urines, throats and nasal swabs, office duties, specimen processing and point of care waived and moderately complex testing. Performs all phlebotomy collection, specimen processing.

    Minimum Education:

    Required: High School Diploma

     

    Preferred: High School Diploma plus training required through work experience or education.

    Minimum Experience:

    Required: 1-2 years of previous job-related experience

     

    Preferred: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience

     

    Details: Previous phlebotomy or laboratory processing experience needed.
