    As a **Security Professional - Armed Patrol** in **Tillery, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

     

    As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence. This armed and driving post requires you to conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining clear communication.     What You’ll Do:

    + Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

    + Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

    + Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

    + Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

    + Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

    + Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access.

    + Monitor and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.

    + Assist visitors and staff by providing information and direction as needed, while maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential issues.

    + Work closely with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols.

    + Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related matters as required by the site.

    + Adhere to all Allied Universal policies and procedures, as well as any site-specific requirements, while carrying out assigned duties.

    + Availability across various days and shifts

    + Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

    + A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

    + Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.

    + Must have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.

    + Must be at least 21 years of age.

    + A valid driver’s license is required and candidates must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
