To continue laying the groundwork and challenge what's possible for our business, we seek to partner with individuals ready to elevate their careers with us *Work Arrangement:* Hybrid *What You'll Do:* Responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, cost effective and environmentally sound transportation of petroleum cargo in the marine environment, oversight and monitoring of multiple seagoing petroleum tankers as well as coordination of daily operational vessel support. *Key Responsibilities:* ** *Role Overview*: Management position overseeing a fleet of Jones Act oil tankers. *Primary Responsibilities*: * Ensure vessels are crewed, operated, and maintained per regulatory requirements, company standards, and customer expectations. * Implement standard procedures for safe, reliable, and environmentally sound operations. * Oversee transport of bulk petroleum and chemical cargoes. *Operational Duties*: * Assist in developing and adhering to operational budgets. * Investigate incidents including vessel damage, product spills, and personal injuries. * Ensure proper notification and documentation for all incidents. *Personnel Management*: * Direct supervision of union and non-union vessel personnel. * Ensure compliance with regulatory training requirements for all crew. *Technical Oversight*: * Inspect vessels for seaworthiness and compliance with regulatory, customer (OCIMF), and owner standards. * Coordinate maintenance and repair to address deficiencies. * Provide technical expertise and consultancy on marine operations and legislative matters. *Travel Requirements*: * May involve travel to multiple locations. * Occasional extended stays away from homeport. *Education & Credentials:* Academy degree in deck or engineering or equivalent work-related experience.** *Experience:* *10 years*relevant experience in: * Petroleum * Cargo handling * Vessel operations * *5–10 years*bulk petroleum marine transportation experience at*Chief Mate or Master's level*preferred *Why Join Crowley?* We are a high-performing team working with a high-performing customer, operating modern equipment in a fast-paced environment that serves a diverse mix of challenging clients **Job:** **Operations* **Organization:** **Petroleum Transportation US 9100* **Title:** *Marine Operations Manager* **Location:** *FL-JACKSONVILLE* **Requisition ID:** *USA0003MS*
