Adecco is currently assisting a client in their search to fill MTS Tester 1 positions located in Irvine, CA

Job Title: MTS Tester 1

Hours: 8am/9am – 5pm/6pm Mon-Fri

**Rate: $** **39.00/HR** .

Duration: 06+ Months Contract

Job Summary

• We are looking for a methodical and passionate software tester who is driven to continuously learning and growing.

• As a software tester on the IFE Software Team, you will be joining an experienced and collaborative team, working on a broad range of software applications.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute tests for specific features both airside and ground side

• Create test cases, plans and documentation based on user stories and other inputs provided by the team

• Regression, performance and integration testing of end tend workflow

• Create and perform automation tests with documentation

• Support incident investigation, including rack/cloud troubleshooting, log collection and analysis, documentation for above.

Qualifications and education:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Proficient with Linux environments

• Experience working in an Agile development environment

• Some experience in PHP, MySQL, Python, Behave, C+ **What is manager looking for in resumes:**

• Manager looking for food software engineering backgrounds (looking at degree and hands on experience)

• PAC environment is Android and Linux so that background is a preference but anyone that has the willingness to learn new technologies and a good foundation will be considered must have good oral communication

• Some experience in PHP, MySQL, Python, C+· A technical background in development and test.

• Familiar with Unix and Linux OS. Basic understanding of systems administrator capabilities and command language for Linux is preferred.

• Ability to plan engineering activities to perform tasks.

• Learn to use professional concepts and applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.

• Generally, applies existing practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data.

• Possess solid writing and communication skills.

• Ability to effectively communicate in English, in person and on the phone.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Education/Experience Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

0-3 years’ experience in software/system engineering development and/or software/hardware testing.

IFE and/or Avionics industry experience is preferred.

Other Requirements

Ability to lift up t25 pounds.

Majority of time spent at test rack (75%) which includes standing, lifting, bending, twisting and stooping.

**Pay Details:** $39.00 per hour
