    ICP Group is looking to hire a Technical Jobsite Support Manager for ICP’s Pli-Dek Waterproofing Solutions division.  This position is responsible for technical excellence ensuring all customers are properly trained to install the product according to specifications.  This person will be required to ensure ZERO spec variance occurs with the installation of all of our products and systems.  This Technical Jobsite Support Manager will also need to create, build, and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers and assist them with growing Pli-Dek business substantially through their technical expertise.

     

    The ideal candidate will reside in the Dallas/Ft. Worth TX area and will cover Texas, the Midwest and Northeast.

    In this role you will be responsible for the following:

    + Work personally with Distributors, Architects, Applicators and all current and potential customers alike.

    + Develop contacts and prospects that ensure long-term profitability.

    + Increase territory sales and profitability through existing accounts and new development.

    + Identify and communicate necessary changes in regulations and industry standards in specific territories.

    + Evaluate customer needs/issues and provide solutions.

    + Teach, demonstrate, and train existing and new customers.

    + Verify spec compliance by all applicators.

    + Provide necessary auxiliary on-site technical support as needed by the company and customers.

    + Keep Distributors engaged and producing leads and support.

    + Maintain professional and technical knowledge of products, their specifications and safe handling.

    + Pursues training and development opportunities, strive to continuously build knowledge and skills.

    + Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

    + Maintain a consistently high level of performance and customer satisfaction.

    + Participate in special projects as assigned.

    + Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Requirements:

    + Minimum of 10 years’ knowledge and hands on experience in the application of construction trades, specifically waterproofing, roofing, and/or envelope.

    + Proven track record of hands-on technical competency from initial contact through the completion of the project.

    + Needs to be self-sufficient and motivated.

    + Customer assistance on bidding/estimating.

    + Quick study of manufacturer specifications, application instructions, and details.

    + Work hands-on with customers to train contractors to install all products according to specifications.

    + Amazing work ethic.

    + New customer acquisitions.

    + Meet, train, and build strong relationships with customers.

    + Ability to travel the state of TX as well as the Midwest and Northeast.  Heavy travel required.

     

    This job operates in a home office work environment and in the field which can be subject to loud noise and outside weather conditions.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk, hear and use their hands, fingers, and eyes.  The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, kneel or lift up to 100 lbs. While performing duties the employee can be exposed to fumes or airborne particles.  PPE is provided by the employer.
