    Job Title: Test TechnicianJob Description

     

    This role involves maintaining and applying software patches and adjusting hardware settings under the guidance of field applications and development engineers from different regions.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain and apply software patches as directed.

    + Change hardware settings following instructions from engineers.

    + Collaborate with engineers from various regions to ensure system efficiency.

    Essential Skills

    + 1-2 years' experience with Microsoft Windows products (OS and Office).

    + 1-2 years of experience in networking configuration, including network switches and routers.

    + Knowledge of Linux OS (Ubuntu, Solaris, Linux Mint, Redhat).

    + Associate's degree or higher in a related field.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Self-motivation, initiative, resourcefulness, confidence, and dependability.

    + Good organization, planning, and problem-solving skills.

    Work Environment

    The position is within a semiconductor company, offering a good opportunity to start a career in a reputable company in Austin. The role requires working the 3rd shift from 11pm to 7:30am CT, Sunday night through Friday morning.

    This is a Contract position based out of Austin, Texas.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
