2nd Shift CNC Machinist in Murfreesboro!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with experience in 5-axis machinery to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and the ability to interpret complex product specifications to ensure high-quality machining processes.

Responsibilities

+ Interpret and apply prints and job orders for product specifications, including dimensions, tolerances, and inspection.

+ Determine the number of parts to be machined and follow tooling instructions such as cutting speeds, feed rates, depth of cuts, and cutting tools required.

+ Install and adjust specified cams, gears, and stops to control stock and tool movement.

+ Maintain all lubricants, coolants, and perform operator maintenance on the machine used in daily operations.

Essential Skills

+ Previous experience with 5-axis machines.

+ Proficiency in CNC Programming.

+ Experience with lathes, turning, milling, and CNC Turning.

+ Familiarity with DMC Mori Machines and Mori Seki.

+ Knowledge of blueprint reading, programming, and usage of calipers and micrometers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with manual lathes and spindle machines.

+ Capability to set up and changeover equipment.

+ Experience with axis mills and lathe operations.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, clean, and quiet facility. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am, with some Saturday overtime. The location is in Murfreesboro, TN. Personal Protective Equipment such as steel-toed boots and eye protection is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $66560.00/yr.
