    Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

    Job Description

    Perform facilities support functions at a diagnostic facility, ensuring all equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.

    + Install, maintain, repair, and test equipment for base building HVAC systems, drywall, and facility support.

    + Demonstrate mechanical aptitude through the use of hand and power tools, minor plumbing/pipefitting, electrical work, carpentry, and blueprint reading.

    + Troubleshoot and repair industrial and commercial HVAC systems and electrical wiring.

    + Conduct regular facility upkeep and ensure compliance with safety standards.

    Essential Skills

    + 3 years of experience demonstrating mechanical aptitude through previous job experience or vocational schooling.

    + Working knowledge of hand and power tools, plumbing/pipefitting, electrical work, carpentry, blueprint reading, and mathematics.

    + 1-2 years of experience supporting commercial facilities upkeep.

    + Ability to operate a company vehicle safely with a clean driving record.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with HVAC repair and service, including EPA certification.

    + Understanding of industrial and commercial HVAC systems.

    + Knowledge of electrical conduit installation, troubleshooting, schematics, and electrical wiring.

    + Experience with boiler and air conditioning systems.

    Work within a diagnostic facility located in San Juan Hills, CA. The role involves hands-on maintenance tasks in a commercial setting, requiring adherence to safety protocols and effective communication with team members.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Juan Capistrano, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
