Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

1st Shift - $34-$44/hour

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team during the 1st shift in our metal fabrication shop. Our facility specializes in producing low-volume custom metal parts. This role offers the unique opportunity to train alongside our current part-time maintenance technician, who will be retiring in the coming year. The long-term vision for this position involves taking over the entire maintenance operation.

Responsibilities

+ Collaborate with the current maintenance technician to learn the full scope of maintenance operations.

+ Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with a variety of metal fabrication equipment, including Press Brakes, Punch Press, Lasers, CNC, and Turrets.

+ Perform mechanical and electrical repairs independently, ensuring minimal downtime.

+ Conduct building maintenance tasks, including plumbing and basic HVAC repairs.

+ Implement preventive maintenance measures to ensure the longevity and efficiency of equipment.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with metal fabrication equipment.

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems.

+ Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including knowledge of 3-phase wiring, PLC troubleshooting, and hydraulics.

+ Ability to perform repairs with minimal supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in welding and automation.

+ Knowledge of PLC control, electrical troubleshooting, and maintenance repair.

+ Familiarity with conveyors, motors, ladder logic, and blueprint reading.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic metal fabrication shop equipped with advanced machinery. The role involves day shifts with a focus on ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment. The environment is collaborative, offering opportunities for professional development and growth.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
