Description We are looking for an experienced Revenue Cycle Analyst to join our team in Cayce, South Carolina on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing revenue cycle processes and enhancing the efficiency of billing operations within the healthcare domain. This position requires hands-on expertise in revenue cycle management and the ability to train and guide teams on best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing revenue cycle processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.

• Provide training and mentorship to the billing department to ensure adherence to industry best practices.

• Streamline medical billing operations to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

• Manage accounts receivable to ensure timely resolution and cleaning of outstanding balances.

• Collaborate with internal teams to establish standardized procedures for billing claims.

• Offer guidance on medical claims processing and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Introduce and implement tools or systems to support revenue cycle optimization.

• Conduct periodic audits to assess the effectiveness of billing and revenue management processes.

• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to revenue cycle operations.

• Support the organization’s goal of expanding billing services to external clients. Requirements • Proven experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, preferably within private organizations.

• Strong knowledge of medical billing, claims processing, and accounts receivable management.

• Familiarity with EMS 8.0 and emergency notification systems.

• Expertise in hospital revenue cycle processes and best practices.

• Ability to train and guide teams with varying levels of technical proficiency.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams.

• Commitment to staying updated on healthcare billing compliance and regulations.
