Description We are looking for an experienced Jira Atlassian Reporting Architect to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing advanced reporting solutions within Jira to drive project visibility and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights for large-scale technology initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop customized reporting solutions within Jira to provide detailed insights into project progress, risks, and performance metrics.

• Create scalable dashboards and visualizations using Atlassian Marketplace tools, such as eazyBI and Structure, to monitor project KPIs and resource utilization.

• Design and maintain reports that track sprint velocity, identify bottlenecks, and analyze variances to enhance project outcomes.

• Integrate Jira with external systems and APIs to consolidate data from multiple sources for comprehensive reporting.

• Leverage scripting languages, such as Groovy or Python, to automate workflows and optimize Jira’s reporting capabilities.

• Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Recommend and implement best practices for Jira reporting, workflow optimization, and tool adoption to improve project management processes.

• Document reporting workflows and provide training to ensure effective use of Jira’s capabilities across teams.

• Ensure all reporting solutions comply with organizational data governance and security standards. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience working with Jira and Atlassian tools, focusing on reporting for complex technology projects.

• Proven expertise in creating reporting solutions using tools like eazyBI, Power BI, or Tableau.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy or Python to automate reporting workflows.

• Familiarity with database management and data warehousing for project-related analytics.

• Strong knowledge of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence, with an emphasis on project management.

• Experience integrating Jira with external systems and APIs for data aggregation.
