Job Title: Millwright
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Millwright responsible for installing, inspecting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment, primarily focusing on mechanical repairs. This role involves working on a variety of equipment including furnaces, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, chain replacements, and conveyor systems.
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Install industrial machinery and mechanical equipment using layouts.
+ Utilize hand and power tools for mechanical maintenance.
+ Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
+ Fabricate parts using MIG or stick welding.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience in a Mechanical Maintenance role (Millwright, Welder/Fabricator, Maintenance Tech, etc.).
+ Proficiency in interpreting blueprint and schematic readings.
+ Welding and fabrication skills (MIG or Stick).
+ Possession of basic hand tools.
+ Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with mechanical maintenance, welding, electrical systems, and fabrication.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $56160.00/yr.
Direct Hire with company, Overtime Potential, Benefits Offered
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Jackson,MI.
