    *This is a benefited, full time position working 8-hr shifts on varied days. Shifts may fall anywhere from 6:40am-8:30pm, weekend and holiday shifts are from 8am-5pm. Every other weekend (both Saturdays and Sundays) and holiday flexibility is required. Located in Eastlake but you will be required to float to neighboring HealthExpress locations as needed.*

    *Position Description*

    * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment

    * Perform patient care services that support the providers and clinic

    * Front Office responsibilities such as registration, scheduling, patient check-ins, collecting co-pays and check-outs

    * Clinical support by checking patient vitals, rooming patients, stocking exam rooms, point of care duties, immunizations, Covid swabbing, and providing patient education

    * Wide variety of acute care patients

    * Patient volumes of 25 and up per day (sometimes as high as 50)

    *Required Qualifications:*

    * Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program OR hold a Medical Assistant Certification OR have a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman

    * BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)

    *Preferred Qualifications:*

    * 1 year MA experience in an outpatient setting

    * Pediatric experience
