Geotechnical Project Engineer

We are on the lookout for an Engineer with at least 3 years of pertinent experience in Geotechnical Engineering to become part of our team. We are considering both Staff and Project level candidates. The ideal candidates should possess a BS in Civil Engineering, with an MS in Geotechnical Engineering being a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Conducting geotechnical field investigations, including field drilling, site reconnaissance, marking exploration locations, obtaining necessary permits, and coordinating with vendors.
+ Reviewing boring logs and preparing data in gINT.
+ Performing engineering analyses based on available data.
+ Preparing technical memoranda and reports under the guidance of the Project Engineer or Project Manager.

+ Proficient in communication with clients and team members.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Self-starter and initiator.
+ Able to work independently and in a team setting.
+ Flexibility in traveling to project sites and other offices.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
+ A valid California driver’s license.
+ Experience with field drilling.
+ General geotechnical engineering analysis experience, such as foundation design, liquefaction analysis, slope stability, settlement evaluation, retaining wall design, or pavement design, is a plus.
