Responsibilities

The Inside Sales Intern will play a key role in supporting strategic sales initiatives by collaborating across departments to enhance forecasting accuracy, identify new market opportunities, and contribute to product development efforts. This internship offers a hands-on experience in sales analytics, market research, and product strategy, providing valuable exposure to cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Planning, Product Development, and Marketing teams. This internship is ideal for a high-energy, detail-oriented individual pursuing a career in sales, marketing, or product strategy. This role is onsite in Evansville IN.

+ Collaborate with Sales and Planning teams to analyze actual sales vs forecast, then identifying efficient means to improve forecast accuracy.

+ Work closely with Sales, Product Development, and Product Line Management, in an effort to identify new product markets/opportunities for our sales team to focus on.

+ Establish our value proposition for new markets identified, and clearly outline that value for each item/market.

+ Participate in the development of product portfolio.

+ Work in partnership with Product Marketing to identify new and existing market growth opportunities, and assist in the creation of a product strategy related to new market opportunities.

Qualifications

+ Pursuing a degree in Sales, Commercial, Marketing, Engineering, or relatable field

+ Must possess excellent communication and analytical skills

+ Must have a positive attitude

+ Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications

+ Must be high-energy, detail oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.

+ Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
