    Human Resources Assistant- PART TIME (15-20 Hours per week)

     

    At HighPoint, we focus on helping government agencies and companies in executing their most critical strategic initiatives. The Human Resources Assistant contributes to this mission by delivering dependable administrative and operational support across HR functions. This includes coordinating projects and events, managing documentation, and generating reports. By ensuring that HR processes are precise, timely, and well-organized, this role helps the Human Resources team remain focused on strategic priorities and employee engagement.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Collect and process mail from the corporate office on a weekly basis.

    + Scan and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate recipients.

    + Coordinate employee recognition efforts.

    + Organize benefit documents and invoices in the appropriate files.

    + Maintain and update content on the HR intranet site.

    + Assist with the coordination and execution of special events.

    + Support HR leadership by tracking timelines and ensuring timely execution of tasks across key initiatives.

    + Manage the HR shared email account by monitoring incoming message, responding to routine employee inquiries and flagging for escalating complex issues to appropriate HR team members.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

    + Organization & Time Management – Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage competing deadlines, and maintain well-structured records.

    + Attention to Detail – Accuracy in preparing documents, data entry, and reviewing information.

    + Communication Skills – Strong written and verbal communication; professional email and phone etiquette.

    + Confidentiality & Discretion – Maintains a high level of integrity in handling sensitive or confidential information.

    + Multitasking – Manages multiple assignments simultaneously with efficiency and accuracy.

    EDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    + High School Degree

    + 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred but not required. Candidates with strong transferable skills and demonstrated potential are encouraged to apply.
