    Overview

     

    The Senior Business Systems Analyst supports the design, implementation, and optimization of technology solutions across Tier 1 Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), and automation platforms in high-volume, high-SKU beverage distribution environments. This role bridges the gap between business operations and IT, translating operational needs into functional and technical requirements to drive efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in warehouse operations.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Solution Design & Requirements Gathering

    + Collaborate with warehouse operations teams to understand business processes and identify technology needs.

    + Translate operational requirements into functional specifications for WMS, WCS, and automation systems.

    + Support solution design efforts in partnership with internal IT teams and external vendors.

    System Implementation & Support

    + Assist in the configuration, testing, and deployment of warehouse systems and automation technologies.

    + Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for WMS and WCS platforms.

    + Document system processes, configurations, and user guides to support training and adoption.

    Data & Process Analysis

    + Analyze warehouse performance data to identify opportunities for system optimization and automation.

    + Monitor system KPIs such as order accuracy, throughput, and equipment utilization.

    + Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to system workflows.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    + Work closely with IT, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to ensure secure and reliable system operations.

    + Partner with vendors and integrators to ensure timely delivery and quality of solutions.

    + Participate in change management and communication efforts to support successful rollouts.

    Industry-Specific Focus

    + Apply knowledge of beverage distribution operations, including SKU complexity, temperature-controlled environments, and regulatory requirements.

    + Ensure solutions are tailored to the unique needs of beverage warehousing, including case picking, palletization, and voice-directed workflows.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

    + 5+ years years of experience in warehouse systems or automation, preferably in the beverage or consumer goods industry

    + Familiarity with Tier 1 WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM) and WCS technologies.

    + Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

    + Experience working in high-volume, high-SKU environments with automated material handling systems.

    + Native-level proficiency/fluent in English.

    + Proven ability to lead and coordinate complex analysis activities across multiple teams.

    Physical Demands

    + Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine

    + Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to the rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping

    + Critical nature of this job may require extended hours, overtime and weekends

    + May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
