    Salary: $1393 / Week

    Job Description:

    The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having trouble breathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health care settings.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state in which he/she practices

    + One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age Compliance & Ethics Expectations

    General Comments:Modality: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: PCCU

    Facility: Helen Devos Childrens Hospital - 100 Michigan St - Grand Rapids OT Bill Rate: 1.0x orientation is day shift regardless of what shift your caregiver is offered!!

     

    Start Date: 10/20 Length of Contract: 13 weeks; extension offers are common Shift: Nights - 6:30pm - 7am; 36 hours, every other weekend
