    Physician Associate – General Surgery and Trauma in Bangor, Maine

     

    Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center seeks a Physician Associate to join our team of General Surgery and Trauma Specialists in Bangor, Maine. Our team works a varied schedule including nights, evenings, and weekends provide acute care and trauma services.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Assisting in the operating room with elective, acute care, and traumatic surgical cases

    • Rounding in the ICU and surgical floors

    • Trauma response in the emergency department

    • Performing procedures including central venous lines, chest tubes, arterial lines, and wound dressing changes

     

    Candidates must be NCCPA certified, and licensed to practice in the State of Maine, or immediately eligible for the same.
