    Director of Clinical Training and Quality - Remote

    Director, Clinical Training and Quality Assurance leads NVRS training and quality assurance programs, managing teams of clinical and quality specialists. Ensure staff and contractors meet organizational and federal standards through effective training and continuous quality improvement. Oversees development and delivery of training materials, maintains compliance records, and serves as the main contact for procedural inquiries. Collaborates across departments and supervises work product review teams within the Central Management Unit.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    + Provide leadership and guidance to the Clinical Training, Quality Assurance, and Work Product Control Teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and federal program requirements.

    + Ensure the training department actively supports organizational and programming Quality Management Activities.

    The director will:

    + Collaborate with the Quality Management team to evaluate Contractor performance data to identify group and/or individual training needs on an ongoing basis.

    + Ensure all NVRS colleagues and contractors receive appropriate training when there are policy and procedural changes.

    + Prepare and conduct corrective action training when it is determined to be necessary.

    + Prepare and administer a FECA knowledge assessment to establish colleague competency before beginning case assignments.

    + Organize and prepare training materials and/or educational programs for NVRS Colleagues and Contractor FNs and RCs.

    + Work with the Contract Manager, QCA, and Federal Program Managers to determine the additional training needs on a group or individual basis.

    + Review existing or develop new documentation, reference guides, training manuals, and other training material as may be required, and in coordination with FECA.

    + Maintain training records for individual employees.

    + Provides initial and ongoing training to ensure the quality of products provided to the Government.

    + Supervise a team of Work Product Review specialists.

    + Provides targeted training to Contract FN/RCs when policies change or a need arises.

    + Handles routine inquiries from colleagues and contractors on procedures, timelines, and work product requirements.

    Qualifications

    + A bachelor's degree in nursing, education, healthcare, or a related field is preferred. An advanced practitioner certification or a master's degree is also preferred.

    + Minimum 8 years of experience in education, leadership, or training & development and evaluation as a nurse case manager, vocational rehabilitation counselor, or in a workers' compensation claims environment.

    + Minimum 10 years of direct experience supporting Federal Employees Compensation Act programs that provide workers’ compensation benefits to federal employees who sustain work-related injuries or illnesses.

    + Preference for Federal Government Program experience

    + Proficiency in computer use, including Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, strong analytical skills in interpreting data, and the ability to multitask effectively.

    + Must be well organized, efficient, and able to work independently and within a team.

    + Responsible for having reliable High-Speed Cable or Fiber Optic Internet service and an Internet Router in an established home office.

    + Must have Excellent Communication Skills via Phone, email, Text, Verbal, Documentation Skills, and the ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate, and constructive written reports.

    + Prior to training, candidates must be able to pass a preliminary credit and background check

    + The ability to obtain and maintain public trust, federal security clearance(s)

    + Ability to travel occasionally for meetings and onsite training.

    Sedgwick Government Solutions provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in jurisdictions requiring pay transparency in job postings. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of a specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is ($90,000 - $100,000).
