Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on WMS Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about optimizing warehouse operations through technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable WMS solutions tailored to business and operational needs.

• Lead end-to-end implementation of WMS platforms, including configuration, integration, testing, and deployment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, IT, and supply chain to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Design and optimize workflows for inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and labor tracking.

• Ensure seamless integration with ERP systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and other enterprise platforms.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams and implementation partners.

• Conduct system performance analysis and recommend improvements for scalability and efficiency.

• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in warehouse automation and logistics.

Skills and Requirements

• 10-14 years of experience architecting and implementing WMS solutions (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder, SAP EWM, Oracle WMS).

• Strong background in software development and system integration.

• Experience with warehouse operations and logistics processes.

• Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).

• Familiarity with APIs, middleware, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to lead technical discussions and drive consensus among stakeholders. • Experience with mobile and RF technologies in warehouse environments.

• Knowledge of automation systems (e.g., conveyors, robotics, AS/RS).

• Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

• Certifications in WMS platforms or cloud architecture.

• Experience with data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
