Job Description

A healthcare system in Houston, TX is seeking a Director of Revenue Cycle Reporting and Analytics. Responsible for leading enterprise-wide efforts in data-driven performance improvement across all revenue cycle functions. The Director, Revenue Cycle Reporting and Analytics oversees the development and implementation of advanced analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools in alignment with Revenue Cycles strategic goals. This role drives insight generation, fosters data literacy across departments, and empowers leadership through actionable intelligence. Additionally, this role manages the intake, triage, and delivery of operational requests to support revenue cycle performance. This role will work with the Revenue Cycle teams on both the Hospital and Physician side while also working with the Central Analytics teams to ensure alignment between domain-specific analytical needs and enterprise-wide data strategy, methodological consistency, and organizational analytical standards.

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics or revenue cycle reporting

5+ years of experience working within a leadership role

Extensive experience with Epic systems, specifically with Epic Cogito

Experience working in a large, multi-disciplinary, integrated healthcare delivery system

Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and enterprise data architecture.

In-depth understanding of revenue cycle functions including access, billing, claims, denials, and collections.

Historical working experience demonstrating success in cross-functional teams and working with executive stakeholders.

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field

Must reside in one of the following states: TX, OK, LA, TN, FL, and GA Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Business Administration, or related field

Epic certifications (e.g., Clarity Data Model, Caboodle Development, Revenue or Access Data Model)
