    Job Description

    Operate and maintain the DCS UV flatbed printer to produce raised text and braille signage using UV-cured ink layering techniques

     

    Interpret job specifications and artwork files to ensure accurate print setup and output

     

    Perform daily maintenance, calibration, and cleaning of the printer to ensure optimal performance and print quality

     

    Troubleshoot print issues, including ink adhesion, alignment, and curing problems

     

    Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure print jobs meet quality and timeline expectations

     

    Maintain accurate records of print jobs, maintenance logs, and material usage

     

    Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in a production environment

    Skills and Requirements

     

    1+ years of experience operating UV flatbed printers (Direct Color Systems, Mimaki, ArtisJet, Colordyne, or similar)

     

    Familiarity with ADA signage production, including raised text and braille printing, is a strong plus

     

    Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise specifications

     

    Ability to work independently and manage multiple print jobs in a fast-paced environment

     

    High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in digital printing or graphic production preferred
