Description
The Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care is seeking a full-time Faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), Rochester, New York.
We seek an Interventional Pulmonologist to join our expanding procedure group (currently 3 Interventional Pulmonologists, 1 advanced bronchoscopist, and advanced practice providers), as part of the larger pulmonary and critical care faculty group. The division boasts a standalone bronchoscopy suite with anesthesia support 5 days per week at the main campus, with anticipated expansion to regional hospitals. The pulmonary program at URMC is recognized as a Top Program in Respiratory Disease by US News and World Report, and our cancer center, Wilmot Cancer Institute, is an NCI-designated Cancer Center.
We seek a faculty member with a passion for clinical and academic medicine who has completed a three-year fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and is board eligible or board certified in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine. Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Pulmonology is highly desired, but faculty with strong bronchoscopy skills will be considered. Clinical time is available in the ICU, on Pulmonary Consults, and in the outpatient clinic. Protected time for basic, clinical, or translational research can be negotiated.

Qualifications
Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date
Eligible for a Faculty Appointment at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
Must meet all credentialing requirements
Eligible for Board Certification in Pulmonary Diseases and/or Critical Care Medicine
Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
Compliance with University and New York State health requirements
