Summary:
We’re looking for a design leader to shape the next chapter of Feed Ads — one of the highest revenue-generating teams at Instagram. This is a rare hybrid role where you’ll both lead a design team and personally drive some of the most ambiguous, high-impact work in the organization. Success in this role will be measured by the incremental revenue you unlock through smarter, more integrated and high craft Feed and ad experiences.

1. Manage and grow small design team, ensuring the team delivers against goals
2. Drive innovation by inventing new, ad formats and evolving the Feed surface to make ads feel more native and delightful
3. Tackle ambiguity head-on — from concept to execution — bringing clarity and creativity to uncharted problem spaces
4. Scale your impact by taking on execution oversight

5. 6+ years of experience in Product Design
6. 2+ years of design leadership experience
7. 6+ years of experience working collaboratively with product, engineering, design, content and user research teams
8. Experience building and shipping applications or software across a variety of platforms
9. Experience leading product direction and strategic thinking with the experience developing product goals, identify opportunities, and make decisions based on the impact to people and the company
10. Experience representing work to a broader product team and other leaders, clearly and succinctly communicating the goals and concepts
11. A portfolio that demonstrates relevant work, an understanding of best practices in product design and a track record of shipping high-quality products

13. Experience designing on mobile for industry-leading consumer apps
14. Experience with business-to-consumer marketplaces
Public Compensation:
$165,000/year to $231,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
