We’re seeking an **Employer and Job Coordinator** to work at a college in Auburn Hills. _If you have experience with student employment work based learning projects such as_ _internships, apprenticeships, job shadowing, and career mentorships, to bridge the gap between school and work, preparing students for future careers by providing practical experience and building confidence this job is for you!_ With us, it’s all about finding the job that’s just right.

     

    **Pay Rate:** $25.00 per hour

    **Length:** 1 year contract

     

    Schedule: M-F 8:00am-5:00pm

    What’s a typical day as an Employer & Job Coordinator? You’ll be:

     

    + Developing new employer partnerships and strengthening existing workforce relationships

    + Creating and overseeing job opportunities for Federal Work-Study (FWS) and non-FWS students

    + Coordinating workshops for job development skills such as resume writing and interviewing

    + Overseeing the FWS Off-Campus Employer student hiring, payment, and employer reimbursement processes

    + Designing and presenting student worker and FWS orientation sessions

    This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

    + Bachelor Degree OR Associate Degree with five (5) years of job development skills.

    + **Must have student employment/work-based learning projects experience (connecting student to both ON and OFF campus jobs for for-profit and non-profit)**

    + Two (2) years of experience developing jobs and working with non-profit organizations.

    + One (1) year of Financial Aid/FASFA and Federal Work Study at a college/university

    + One (1) year of supervisory responsibilities

    + Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

    + Have experience in developing business and industry partnerships

    + Exhibit a self-starting attitude and excellent communication skills

    + Are well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite
