Job Summary:

Completes diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on chassis products in a service workshop under limited supervision.

We are looking for a talented Chassis Technician to join our Distribution business in (Henderson, CO). will make an impact in the following ways:

+ Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop

+ Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools

+ Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles

+ Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies

+ Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products

+ Maintain own tools

RESPONSIBILITIES

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

(Intermediate):

+ Applies documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools Disassemble, clean and inspect chassis and /or chassis components

+ Performs preventative maintenance based on assessment of chassis and chassis components

+ Assists more experienced technicians with diagnostics and development of chassis repair plans in the workshop

+ Completes required documentation, such as work completed documents, time sheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens

+ Completes training in line with skill and business requirements

+ Maintains work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation Adheres to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to their supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

+ Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with chassis products.

+ Skilled and experienced in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of Cummins medium and heavy-duty vehicles.

+ Proficient in service documentation and repair record keeping.

+ Adapt at working in a team-oriented environment and always willing to assist fellow technicians to ensure efficient workflow.

+ Familiar with industry-standard diagnostic tools and software.

DOT

- A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire

- Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Apprentice Trained Technician (Preferred).

Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution.

Locally valid driving permit

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with chassis products

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
